About

Franziska Boehm

My name is Franziska, I am an experienced individual and group psychotherapist and have particular clinical interest in anxiety, OCD and trauma-related difficulties.
I have worked as a therapist in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, community mental health, addiction rehabilitation, and private practice.
My therapeutic practice is informed by evidence-based modalities and integrative approaches. I have completed trainings in CBT, ERP, ACT, Compassion Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic and Jungian theory, Mindfulness and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I’m accredited by BABCP and registered with BACP.
Many of the people I see feel caught in cycles of obsessions, compulsive responses, avoidance, rumination, emotional overwhelm or a persistent sense of threat and hypervigilance that affects their relationship with themselves and others. Together we can navigate fear‑based patterns, intrusive thoughts, compulsive processes, anxiety, shame and other complex but deeply human emotional experiences.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative and grounded. How we work together depends on who you are and what feels important to you at the present time. I aim to balance structure with depth and sensitivity to each person’s history and emotional world, and I value diversity and approaches that honour each person’s capacity for meaning and growth. I offer therapy in English and German in Peckham and online.
I offer a limited number of places for EMDR therapy from November 2026
I offer short-term and long-term therapy and I’m covered by most health insurance providers, including BUPA and AXA.
