Something brings you here. You may already understand quite a bit about why you feel stuck – and still find that insight alone hasn’t shifted the patterns.
Perhaps the same difficulties keep repeating in your relationships. Perhaps experiences from childhood continue to shape the present, or intimacy, sexuality or work have become sources of conflict, anxiety or disconnection. You don’t need to arrive with a neat explanation. We can start with whatever is bringing you here, even if it’s difficult to put into words.
Much of what keeps us stuck lives below the level of thought – in patterns that repeat, in the ways past experiences can still be felt in the body, in parts of yourself that don’t respond to logic. So rather than working ‘from the neck up’ only, we slow down and pay attention to the direct experience arising moment by moment: feelings, physical sensations, impulses. That ‘felt sense’ often unlocks what circling thoughts can’t.
I create a space where all of you can feel welcome – not just your ‘best self.’ Clients describe me as warm, authentic and connected, with the right dose of challenge. Rather than feeling reduced to a diagnosis, label or neat explanation, they feel genuinely met – and more willing to experiment with bolder, freer ways of living.
I have particular experience working with childhood trauma, relationship and intimacy difficulties, sexuality and work-related challenges. I work with adults on both a short-term and open-ended basis.
My approach draws on advanced training in Gestalt therapy, the neurobiology of trauma, Internal Family Systems, somatics and yoga & mindfulness.
I am UKCP and BACP registered.
