Psychotherapy with Yasmeen Brett PGDip
I am a BACP-registered and NCPS-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist. My practice is relational, responsive and tailored to your individuality and unique experience, drawing on a core of psychodynamic and person-centred foundations.
How Can I Help?
I am a present and reflective therapist, sharing what I notice with gentle curiosity, asking questions and offering new angles, as change often begins with new insight and awareness.
When sessions feel stuck or uncomfortable, I stay with you and don’t shy away from the difficult, slower or harder places we may find ourselves in. I offer time to discover how your past may be felt in the present and space for unconscious processes to be better understood.
Alongside this, humour, creativity and joy are also warmly welcome, deepening an essential sense of wholeness and hope.
Together, we explore the messy contradictions, the late-night anxieties, and the unspoken desires that might shape how you relate to yourself, others, and the world.
Specialist practice:
Relationships with self and others – break-ups, repeating patterns, desire and connection, attachment-informed therapy
Inner critic & self-doubt – low self-esteem, shame, abuse, searching for autonomy and confidence
Women exploring internal & external change – transitions, grief, letting go, reclaiming, quarter/mid-life
Creatives & life outside the 9-5 – uncertainty, individuality, artist identity, juggling multiple projects, ideas, or places
Identity & neurodiversity – masking, belonging, self-discovery & expression, late diagnosis
GSRD & queer experience – Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity accredited by Pink Therapy, LGBTQIA+ affirming, late blooming
I favour open-ended work so there is dedicated time and space for real, sustainable change. Short-term work is also available, please ask about my 6-session MOT package. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can find out more and ask any questions you may have.
